Mr. Kasten is the CFO of all the MCRES companies, including Madison 1031. Prior to joining MCRES, Mr. Kasten worked for Deloitte & Touche LLP as a senior tax consultant and as senior tax advisor at Ernst & Young LLP, focusing on midsize and Fortune 500 companies. Since leaving public accounting, Mr. Kasten has been actively involved in the negotiation, purchase and due diligence of property valued in excess of $500 million. As CFO of Real Diligence, he draws upon both his accounting acumen and his broad exposure to the real estate markets.
Mr. Kasten received an MBA degree from Rutgers Graduate School of Management, where he concentrated on finance and accounting, He is licensed as a CPA in New York.
